Dear reader,
As from this edition, I have decided not to address any more issues directly to mr. Adriaan Basson. The reason for this is that he is not the only person I’m sending my editions to. To single him out would be a bit unfair.
Last week, I have been contacted by a Media24 editor (and their ombudsman) who engaged in a professional manner regarding the accuracy of my M=V editions. I thank them for this.
They could not really contradict the information, except to say my data is “not scientifically accurate and will never hold water when considering real scientific data”.
I beg to differ.
My editions mention sources and many are from renowned scientific sites that are also used by MSM for their own articles.
My editions are not intended to influence opinion. They are intended to inform and describe the self-created crises we find ourselves in by supplying real-world data, sources and context. The reader should make up their own mind.
We look at the bigger picture. Look around you and not only gather information by reading or watching MSM. Compare real scientific facts and figures and compare them to historic and current data while ensuring to compare apples with apples.
Yes, Covid-19 is new, so it’s not easy to find another apple, but it’s also a respiratory disease of which there are many. It’s also contagious like many others. It also has a very high survival rate like many others.
It also falls within the coronavirus category. Coronaviruses have been around for many decades, perhaps longer.
To reduce the world into a forced confined space for most of humanity, and to force unscientific restrictions (see this edition), is not in relation to the real-world dangers posed by this 2019 version of a new SARS coronavirus.
Much more related info giving substance to my views and opinions can be found in my previous editions.
For the most part, Covid could be deadly to people of advanced age or those with underlying illnesses. Many diseases pose similar risks. It’s not exaggerated MSM-level deadly for children, teenagers, young adults and healthy adults.
Around 4,440 people per month have died with Covid over the last 18 months. Put this in context with 45,000 people that die every single month in SA. Somehow, flu seems to have disappeared while this disease claimed around 800-1,000 SA deaths per month.
We should accept the virus is here to stay and live with it. We should accept that everyone could eventually get infected. We should get on with our lives and aspirations while accepting that there’s yet another virus to contend with. Consider a vaccine to increase protection, especially for the elderly.
Wear a face mask if it makes you feel better. For many years, people in Asia already do so. Keep you distance from others for the same reason. Do not travel if you feel it’s risky. It’s your own choice to make instead of being forced to do so.
We all know of people that died with Covid and some were young – the majority were life expectancy age and over. It’s hard reality. We all die eventually, either from a disease, an accident, failed organs or age. For many this is not an easy subject. It sounds too blunt.
Many mindsets have accepted the constant one-sided MSM bombardments of fear and danger over the last 18 months. Having a more open mind to balance all available information for something as big as this requires research, reflection and time.
Some will disagree. I understand this. I do, however, stand by my opinion that the imposed, throttling, psychological damaging and ongoing regulations do not fit into the official Covid mortality statistics of the world’s population:
- World-wide, 56 people died with Covid per 100,000: 7,880,000,000 world population (worldometer.com) / 100,000 = 78,800. 4,450,000 Covid deaths (www.arcgis.com) / 78,800 = 56 (0,056% – a twentieth of 1%).
- Double the official world deaths (for no real reason) and the result becomes 113 per 100,000 (0,1% – a tenth of 1%).
- For SA (60 million over 80,000 deaths) the official Covid death rate = 133 deaths per 100,000 (0,13%).
- Double this official total to include unproven excess Covid deaths = 266 deaths per 100,000 (0,26%).
Take a breath and let this sink in. This is reality. MSM won’t publish facts in this way, so we present them here.
Why are we using the world and country population for comparison? Because the excessive restrictions and regulations affect everyone on this earth. Not just those infected.
To argue that lockdowns caused the numbers to be contained also holds no water.
Countries that did not impose lockdowns, like Sweden, have similar death rates (10,1 million over 14,670 deaths = 143 per 100,000 or 0.14%). Countries that eased restrictions had no resurgence of new cases, while under full lockdown (as in Sydney), record new cases emerged (see August edition no4).
Having said that, lockdowns have a certain temporary success factor too. Australia (4 per 100,000 or 0,004%) and NZ (0,5 per 100,000. 0.0005%) show very low death rates. Both have the luxury of being islands with no shared borders. This makes it much easier to contain a virus with little external infection risk. They also both have very strict lockdown policies.
But at what cost and for how long to keep this up? Depression, stress-related illnesses, financial hardship, broken relationships, suicides, obesity issues, delayed medical procedures and more. 1000’s of lives vs 1000’s of lives. Eventually, lockdowns need to end. With or without Covid around. The short-term gains will be lost and infections start again. The question is: would it balance out in the longer term? You decide.
One day we will look back and realise whether the results of our actions were justified or otherwise.
Enjoy the new edition and hopefully appreciate diverse views, truths and information. That could never be a bad thing.
Regards,
Tim
